Privacy First Architecture

Reelab

Privacy Policy & Data Protection Statement
Effective Date: August 11, 2026

1. Introduction

Reelab, developed by My India Apps, is committed to providing a professional video editing experience while respecting your privacy. This policy outlines our commitment to data protection and explains how we handle information within the app.

2. Media Privacy (Offline Processing)

Your creativity is private. Reelab is an offline-first application. All video processing, rendering, and editing happen locally on your device. We do NOT upload, store, or share your photos, videos, or audio files with any server or third party.

3. Analytics & Performance

To improve app stability and performance, we use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. These services collect anonymous technical data, such as device model, app version, and crash logs. This information does not contain personally identifiable information and is used strictly for troubleshooting and optimizing the user experience.

4. Advertisements

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements that support the ongoing development of this free application. AdMob may collect non-personal device identifiers to serve relevant ads. Our ad integration is designed to be as non-intrusive as possible to your editing workflow.

5. Permissions Usage

Reelab requires specific permissions to function correctly:

  • Photos & Videos: To access media for editing and to save exported projects to your gallery.
  • Audio/Microphone: To record voice-overs for your video projects.

These permissions are used solely for local processing and are never used to collect data for external use.

6. Data Security

Since Reelab processes data locally, your primary data security resides on your device. We encourage users to maintain secure device practices. Any anonymous diagnostic data sent to Firebase is handled with industry-standard encryption.

7. Children's Privacy

Reelab is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

8. Changes to Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
